The SpringSui Ecosystem LST Creator Form

Creating your SpringSui Ecosystem LST

1. Getting Started

Go to springsui.com/create. You’ll be able to fill in the required details to create your own SpringSui Ecosystem LST (Liquid Staking Token).

  1. Name

This is the full name of your LST. To stay consistent with naming conventions a suffix of “Staked SUI” is enforced.

Example: Spring Staked SUI

3. Symbol

This is the token ticker (short symbol) that users will see on dApps. Example: sSUI.

Please note: the symbol must be unique amongst the SpringSui LSTs, so cannot be the same as existing LSTs (eg. mSUI, kSUI).

4. Description

Write a short description of your LST. This will appear on blockchain explorers like Suiscan. You can check out sSUI’s page on Suiscan as an example.

5. Icon Image Upload

Upload an icon image in PNG, JPEG, or SVG, 256x256 dimensions or larger recommended.

Additionally, we recommend that the LST icon design has some similarity to the Sui droplet logo. See the attached LST icons for reference:

6. Staking Fee

This is a fee charged when users deposit SUI to mint your LST. It’s usually a small percentage. We recommend setting it to 0 bps (0%).

Example: If the fee is 10 bps (0.10%) and a user deposits 1,000 SUI, they will pay a fee of 1 SUI, and receive LSTs worth 999 SUI.

7. Unstaking Fee:

This is a fee charged when users unstake LSTs. A minimum of 2 bps (0.02%) is required.

8. Performance Fee

This is the percentage of staking rewards taken by the LST operator. The fee is applied at the end of each epoch (~1 day). We recommend setting no more than 10%.

Example:

  • Total staked: 1,000 SUI

  • Rewards in one epoch: 10 SUI

  • Performance fee: 10%

  • Result: 1 SUI goes to the LST operator, 9 SUI goes to the LST

9. Validators

Select which validator you would like to delegate the staked SUI to. You can change this later.

You can find a list of Sui validators here: https://suivision.xyz/validators.

You can stake to multiple validators but the voting weight between validators must equal 100. 1 validator = 100% weight. Eg. 2 validators could be 30%/70% weight, or 50%/50% weight.

10. Create LST

After reviewing your LST details, you can proceed to create your LST. Please note:

🚨 The following parameters are FINAL and cannot be changed after creation:

Name, Symbol, Description, and Icon Image

The following parameters can be updated later:

  • Staking Fee, Unstaking Fee, Performance Fee, and Validators

Once everything looks good, click “Create LST” and approve the three signature requests in your Sui wallet to complete the process.

11. Managing your LST

To manage your LST after it’s been created, go to springsui.com/admin.

There, you can rebalance your LST, update fees, claim fees, and modify your validators and their weights.

Please note: Only the address that holds the OwnerCap (an object with admin rights over the LST) can modify its parameters. By default, the creator of the LST will own the OwnerCap—unless it has been transferred to another address.

Risks
